COACH OF THE MONTH: Kellie C.

Kellie has only been teaching at Fierce45 for 4 months, but her teaching style would make you think she's been doing it since birth. Her classes are energetic and get you outside of your box; not to mention the LIT playlists she brings each week. Read her story below and jump into one of her classes ASAP!

How long have you been teaching at Fierce45? 4 months

What is your background (fitness or otherwise)? 

I have always been an athlete (lacrosse, skiing, cheerleading, snowboarding, and hiking), however I found Fierce45 over a year ago and was immediately drawn to this method because it incorporates and strengthens the mind, body, and soul. As a graduate student pursuing Counseling Psychology, I am passionate about tapping into an individual's potential and now as a coach at Fierce 45 I will be able to help you find your true power in our time together. I design my classes to push, motivate, and cultivate strength of your mind, body, and spirit. I look forward to helping you become the best version of your self! 

What is your favorite thing about the Fierce45 community? 

I love that the Fierce community holds a commitment to both the physical and mental bodies. We are a community that builds and empowers each person wherever they are at in their fitness and mental health journey.

Why do you love teaching at Fierce45? What sets Fierce45 apart from different fitness studios? 

Again, the incredible power that community can create and helping people feel good about themselves and their bodies is so inspiring. You come into a Fierce studio to change yourself and you leave feeling like not only did you change your day and mentality, but you supported someone else's. We are different from other studios because we teach clients how to control their thoughts and not letting them control them through learning how to train train our negative automatic thoughts (that everyone has) by staying in positions, slowing it down, and finding strength in the pain. You are taught to not give power to those irrational beliefs that keep up small, push us away from our goals, and keep us in our comfort zone. We are the "pushers" that help individuals feel like they have gotten one step closer to their goals after each and every class. It is so rewarding to see clients journey of growth, improved self-esteem, and confidence through this powerful movement based method. 

Why do you love the Lagree method? 

Knowing that you can impact your body positively in so many ways (balance, strength, flexibility, and endurance) and at the same time find such resilience mentally and physically in the shaking. The slow controlled continuous tension, spring resistance, and range of motion can always be adjusted to make it more or less challenging which makes it so addicting and fun!

Challenging, authentic, & educational.

I love dogs more than people. That's why it's god spelled backwards.
