Fierce Favs: Denver Restaurants

We can all agree, there is literally nothing worse than putting in all the time at Fierce45 and not seeing the results. But let's be honest, cooking all your healthy meals at home just isn't realistic. So let us take the guess work out of it for you. Here are our favorite places to grab some healthy food out.

Vital Root

Vital Root is one of the most creative plant based restaurants in Denver. Where else can you go for bacon made from coconut? The Vital Cobb ranks in our top five favorite salads in the world. That's a bold statement, but it's got the flavor to back it. If you're taking class a LoHi, bop up to Tennyson and get yourself a Safe Word Cacao smoothie, trust us, you won't regret it. Also special shoutout to the Korean BBQ Veggie "Wings", even our veggie averse significant others request these.

The Corner Beet

This restaurant could alternatively be named the toast mecca. This places makes eating healthy a breeze because it is full of amazing combos, unlimited options, and they try to use local organic produce when possible. You can't go wrong with any single option here. Our personal favorite is The Hill and add a fried egg and a golden milk latte.

Modern Market

Modern Market has a great selection of salads, sandwiches, and soup. Pro tip: if you still have your student id (no shame, we still use it for the 15% off at Madewell) you get a free drink. Also, don't sleep on this in Terminal C at DIA. The healthiest and most wallet friendly meal you can find at the airport. Modern Market salads and breakfast sandwiches are where it's at.

Port Side

Don't be fooled, this is not your average coffee shop. Port Side has delicious coffee, house-made almond milk, and some amazing food. We're embarrassed to admit how many summer days we've strolled here. If you're going with a friend split the avo toast (duh) and order the kale salad. If you're feeling a little more adventurous get yourself a brown rice bowl. If you're feeding the soul, the salted chocolate chip cookies are slightly undercooked and way underrated.
