I've always been passionate about movement and fitness since growing up as a ballerina. Over the past ten years I've been sharing my passion through teaching yoga and I love that each class is an opportunity to make someone's day. To help someone heal. To help someone get stronger physically and mentally. I'm so thrilled to be opening Fierce45because I've also always wanted to have my own business and when I stumbled upon the Lagree Fitness Method a few years ago in NYC I knew I had to bring it to Denver. My hope is that this challenging new workout will change lives and help people find their inner fierceness.

Community. Connection. Health & Wellness. These are the four foundations for my life as a teacher, guide and coach. Touching another person’s life through teaching has been the greatest gift I could ever imagine. Introducing fitness and wellness to the my native Denver community over the last 5 years has been transformative each and every day. I am so very thankful to have found my life’s work after years of suffering with my identity, decomposing while I made millions for others and finally realizing there was more to life, more to me than the all mighty dollar. Teaching found me at a time when I was the most polluted. And slowly began to uncover the joyous person that had been buried for decades.
A healthy mind, body and spirit has allowed me to experience life so differently. This crazy journey is only as challenging as our perspective. Have you ever met someone that had a terrible tragedy in their life, but posses the most exuberant outlook on life?!?! They all have one thing in common…a untarnished perspective that life is good, no great.
My goal in every coaching opportunity is to provide folks an uplifting experience. Maybe today it is just a smile for the first time in the day because I drop an old school hip hop jam and dance around like we did in the 90s (eek) ;) or give you that extra exuberant hoot of encouragement when you are trying to hit that 100th push up. Or maybe something deeper, something more attached to your every action and reaction that keeps you from this healthy view that life really is THIS GOOD. Sometimes a good sweat, a good intention is all we need to shed that layer of masking we add to cover up something profound from within….patience, kindness, empathy, or maybe acceptance for all the quirkiness that makes you fan-fn-tactic.
Walking out of a class should transform you in some way….get you out of your head so you can focus, relax your tension from life, motivate you to FIERCLY rock the simplest task of folding that mountain of laundry stacking up or grandest opportunity like letting go of self-doubt and really change your life so you can live a happier and healthier life! Best lyric sums up a Jen I class, “No limits, Just epiphanies”.
My motto is simple: Think LOVE, Speak, LOVE, Feel LOVE. Can’t wait to share some of this light with you!
Like every master artist that begins with a blank canvas, so too must every person quiet the distraction of the mind in order to begin anew. Alyssa believes that fitness is a vehicle to empty the mind of useless chatter that does not serve in order to create a blank canvas that is needed to be truly present, to connect with the beauty of the world and to create one's own artistic representation of life.
Alyssa completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado - Boulder in 2001 and her Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado - Denver in 2010. Both programs fostered her talent to design for the human experience, which she has brought into her life as a yoga and fitness instructor. After completing CorePower Yoga's 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Program in 2012, she has been inspiring students both on and off the mat ever since. A registered E-YRT, Alyssa teaches yoga from a compassionate and supportive canvas that encourages students to flow through physical asana with a powerful connection of breath to body, in order to experience the stillness of the mind. Now a Lagree Fitness Method trained professional, Alyssa's classes will create a Fierce 45 experience that incorporates not only tremendous physical work, but determined attention to alignment and breath work in order to create change in your body and mind.
Davina is a native of Colorado with a background in dance, yoga, and cycling. She is excited to take her training and experience to a new level with Fierce45 and to help introduce students to a different form of exercise. The classes with Davina are upbeat with a focus on strength and confidence building.
Bettina M. Vaccarello (a.k.a Tiny Tyrant) was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from The Ohio State University with a BFA in Dance and minor in Business and Strategic Communications.
With multiple previous injuries from her hard core dance years, her background and dance experience led her to find her passion within teaching ballet and other barre methods, and now Lagree.
She has been a part of the Fierce Family since the very beginning and is humbled by the evergrowing community #OGlife. This method has not only changed her body physically and mind mentally, but has also allowed her to meet and touch so many amazing people in Denver.
She is as excited as ever to see what 2017 and beyond brings to Fierce45. Fun fact:: her first dance teacher was Abby Lee Miller from Dance Mom’s.
I was born and raised in San Francisco, and went to college at U.C. Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!) and San Francisco State University. I went to school for fashion merchandising but ended up with a career in advertising that I loved. After that, my husband and I owned and operated a wine bar in San Francisco. When our daughter, Liv, was about 2 and a half we decided to make the move to Colorado. We LOVE it here! Once here, I got serious about getting and staying in shape. While I love yoga and barre, Fierce45 really gave me the results I was looking for. Torrey and her team of coaches motivated me to such a degree that when I was invited to teacher train, I looked at it as an honor and a challenge. My single biggest goal now, is to live up to their trust by fueling the passion for Fierce in every class, and seeing people—like I did—work their butts off and come back for more.
I am a Denver native and have called northwest Denver / LoHi my home for 15 years. I hold a BA in Communications and my professional background is in telecom & healthcare operations/administration. I left "corporate" to pursue my passion of creating a life by design and helping others do the same! I am a Consultant and Healthy Living Coach with Arbonne International and have worked in the fitness industry since 2008.
As a life-long fitness junkie, I'm always up for trying something new! From the opening of the original studio in LoHi, Fierce45 blew me away. I first became addicted to the workout, the Lagree Method from which I saw true physical changes after just a few workouts. The workout brought be back to an intense workout level I had been missing for years due to a chronic back injury. The physical changes continue as my practice of the Method develops. In Lagree, there's always another level.
I then fell in love with the inclusive community at Fierce45. The Fiere45 team & members made it an easy choice for me to become a Coach and Certified Lagree Method instructor. I love that I get to share my passion for group fitness with others! I thrive on the energy created by students & great instructors, the accountability factor and the comradery. Now I get to pay it forward, sharing the incredible burn, shake and fierceness we know and love at Fierce45.
I was born and raised in Portland OR and yes, Portland is as crunchy and strange as it gets! After growing up in a foster home I moved to Colorado in 1996 and became a Denver native! I am the type of person that has had a wide range of careers form a Denver health EMT to Journeyman drywall finisher! I learned from a young age you have to work hard and hustle to succeed. I graduated with honors from CU Boulder, College of Architecture and Planning and worked for the CIty and County of Denver at DIA for Engineering and Planning. Although my background doesn't stem from fitness, I try to integrate everything I have learned into teaching with a grateful heart. I am a mom to a spunky, life loving 2 year old who makes everyday so much fun! My values are centered around faith, family,and love, and that balance is Christ centered.
I grew up in New Jersey as part of a very active family running, hiking, playing tennis, and taking different group fitness classes. I moved to Denver for graduate school and tried a ton of studios in Denver through lululemon but none really clicked until I was introduced to Fierce45. From my first class, I felt challenged, supported, and sore in parts of my body that I didn’t even know had muscle. I fell in love with the Lagree Method and the combination of low-impact and high intensity. Over time it has completely changed not only my body but also my mind and I have never felt healthier, stronger, or more confident. I decided to get certified to teach so I could share my passion and appreciation for this workout with others looking to find a sustainable workout that both challenges and changes them. Outside of Fierce45 I enjoy hiking with my dog Lylah, skiing with friends, running half marathons, and treating myself to desserts.
Born and raised in Columbus, OH, I had an active childhood, juggling as many sports as I could handle. I learned how to swim when I was 3 and continued to swim competitively and play water polo through high school. Also participating on numerous softball, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse teams.
I took a break from athletics when I attended Columbus College of Art and Design to obtain my Interior Design degree. Shortly after college, I started taking yoga classes and getting more involved with group fitness. I always knew I wanted to inspire people with fitness, but it wasn't until I moved to Denver and became certified to teach Barre and Lagree that I found my passion. I truly LOVE Lagree method and believe it helps change your mind, body, and spirit. I am so lucky to have found a wonderful community of people with whom I can to share my love.
There are two kind of workouts – the kind where you have to push yourself and the kind where someone pushes you to a place you never thought you could reach. Monica is a pusher, she pushes people. And that is one of the many pop culture references she will drop in your 45 minutes together. Sure you can dread your morning routine or post work workout but why do that when you can come sweat with her to the sweet beats of Nelly, Ja Rule and whichever band/artist she is planning to see that week?
Monica completed The Lagree Teacher Training with Fierce45 in the Fall of 2015 and loves teaching and sharing all her FIERCE45 knowledge because she believes it. She has seen scrambled eggs, dancing bears, and mermaids change people and if that intrigues you, then she will see you at the studio. Come see what we have on deck!
Physical activity for Holly has always been a must. Growing up she found deep connection and peace only during a run or participating in one of the many sports that she played including soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball. In time, these high impact sports coupled with her perfectionism and always going, doing, and becoming mindset led to injury after injury. Practicing and teaching yoga has been her refuge for the last 5 years. Holly's way of being has completely transformed, and continues to evolve, as a result!
When introduced to Lagree Fitness at Fierce45, Holly's change in body and mind took on a whole new level! She has developed a strength and awareness in her body and thought patterns that continue to allow her to burst forward beyond self imposed limitations. The community that has grown at Fierce45 has provided her the support, inspiration, and unconditional love that allows her to remain consistent in her progress resulting in her now taking on role of coach in the Fierce Family.
Holly invites you to show up as you are, to listen to your body, to push YOUR edge, to stay in it, and be there for others as they are there for you! Her classes will help you embody each moment, breath, and sensation as you dive deep into body and mind fully reminding you that you are alive!
Audrey was a very competitive soccer player throughout my youth, when she gave up the sport in college due to injuries she found herself depressed and glued to an elliptical. Ellipticals suck- she gained weight and lost confidence. She found yoga and her whole inner and outer being changed. After college, she completed yoga training at Agama in Koh Phangan, Thailand. She took home an entirely new respect for living creatures, including herself. She loves a challenge.
Lagree gave her that challenge, and she loves to show others the method and the outcomes. She also loves her deaf French bulldog, Pierre. The human body and mind are capable of incredible things. Fitness is a perfect way to test your mental and physical strength. Lagree is a catalyst of change- whether it is helping you with long-term goals or to shake off a bad day.
A textbook Colorado athlete: skier, snowboarder, runner, biker, sometimes climber and triathlete -- and also a yoga and yoga-with-weights teaching expert, Angela has been living and teaching yoga and fitness in Colorado for over ten years. Through an understanding of the physical body, she can work with anyone offering modifications and education for injuries or assisting elite athletes to improve their athletic performance. Currently, she is co-leading the Fierce45 nutritional program to assist the Fierce Family to have the breakthrough results in weight loss, energy, athletic performance and health aging that are possible when combining the world class workout offered at Fierce45 with a cutting edge nutritional system backed science and results. Not only does she assist everyone from weekend warriors to professional athletes to get the results they want, she brings a healthy serving of intention, empowerment, and mindset magic to her classes.
As a Denver native, Naomi grew up loving the outdoors and working out. She has tried almost every workout in the book from yoga to long distance running and had no idea how much the Lagree method would change her life. Naomi was so impressed with how quickly her body changed, how sore she felt working different muscle groups, and how energizing the workout and Fierce Family was. She was also completely hooked on the sense of community Fierce created for her in her life and knew she needed to be a part of it in a bigger capacity. She is beyond excited to join the Fierce team as a coach and can’t wait to share her love for the Lagree method with the rest of Denver.
Growing up in Denver, there was never a shortage of outdoor activities to do or exercise studios to join. My real first-hand experience with fitness came in college where I was a manager at The University of Georgia’s rec center. It was there that I first realized my passion for health and wellness. My first experience with the Lagree Method came while I was living in the ever-active community of Boulder, Colorado. After my first month of Lagree classes, I was completely hooked. I had never experienced such rapid, positive changes in my body and in my mood! I knew from that point on that I wanted to eventually become a Lagree coach. After nearly 3 years as a client, and a new move back to Denver, I was ready to take on the challenge of becoming a coach! Discovering Fierce45 was one of the best things that has happened to me over this 3 year Lagree journey. It is an incredibly inspiring, supportive community of like-minded individuals, and I feel so fortunate to be a coach here!
Jen is originally from Arizona but visited, fell in love with, and moved to Colorado in 2013 after spending a couple of years in San Francisco for graduate school. She graduated from Arizona State with a BS in Global Business and from San Francisco State with an MBA. While her career has been in the corporate realm, fitness and nutrition have been extremely important to her in her adult life. Running and yoga have been fitness staples for Jen until she discovered Fierce45 and her world was turned upside down.
The energy, passion and full body transformation that the Lagree method has given her has been life changing so she jumped at the chance to become even more a part of the Fierce community and join as a coach. Jen loves how low impact the method is and that there is always an opportunity to take it to the next level.
In her free time, you can find her out exploring this amazing state we get to call home, spending time with her three special, little dogs and volunteering on a farm for abused and neglected farm animals. She can't wait to see you all in class and to make you SHAKE!

was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. After high school, I moved out to Boulder to go to CU, studying Communications and Elementary Ed. I love CO and am proud to call it home!! I taught 1st grade for some time and then switched gears from kids to dogs! I now own a small business called Pet Wants Denver, specializing in fresh and all-natural nutrition and kibble.
I love being on the go - hiking, snowboarding, traveling, rock climbing, and anything else out doors. Trying new things and being around people I love is what makes me the happiest.
I only involve myself in ventures that I am passionate about — and Fierce45 is one of those! I’ve done all kinds of workouts from barre to crossfit, I love to challenge myself…and when I came across Fierce...it kicked my booty! It is so unique, effective, and a BADASS workout. With the welcome and warmth from the community here, I was hooked! I love to motivate and encourage people to push it to their limits - we are all so much stronger than we think and it’s that strong mentality that will get you so far — not only in the gym, but in all aspects of life!
From the second Alice stepped into the Fierce45 studio she KNEW it would be a place she called home! Born and raised in Texas, she fell in love with the Lagree method thanks to her lululemon family in Dallas. Completely blown away by how hard yet effective the workout was--she was completely hooked. The slow burn and intensity supported all other workouts that she loved, especially running!
After a year in San Francisco, she packed up and came to Denver in 2015 on a whim and hasn't looked back! Currently training for her fourth marathon, she is moved and inspired by others chasing their goals--no matter how big or small--they matter and can change your world!
She is over the moon about being a part of the Fierce45 family and this oh so special community of strong, inspiring people. She will work hard to show up for every class ready to challenge and grow with each of you!
Being raised in Denver I’ve always been drawn to things that push and inspire me to be more as a person, an athlete, and as an avid adventure seeker. I grew up with a wild appetite for skiing and anything that would get me moving and/or outdoors. To this day I crave powerful and movement based energetic outlets so when I found the Lagree Method and the Fierce 45 community a year ago it felt like the stars aligned.
I have fallen in love with this method and with the way my body looks and feels because of it. As a graduate student pursuing Counseling Psychology, I am passionate about tapping into an individual's potential and now as a coach at Fierce 45 I will be able to help you find your true power in our time together. I design my classes to push, motivate, and cultivate strength of your mind, body, and spirit.

Lauren is a born and raised Texan but beyond thrilled to be in Colorado! She graduated from Oklahoma State with an Elementary Education Degree and has been educating little third graders for the past three and a half years. After discovering that her husband’s job was bringing them to Denver she knew that she wanted to find a workout that was going to provide a challenge. Lauren heard about Fierce45 before moving to Colorado and scheduled her first class as soon as she moved to town! She couldn’t believe how intense a 45 minute workout could be---they say everything is BIGGER and BETTER in Texas, but clearly they haven’t experienced Fierce45. Lauren is a firm believer in the Lagree method because of the difference she’s noticed in herself both mentally and physically. She hopes everyone feels strong and inspired when they take her FIERCE classes!
A Colorado native, mother of two firecracker little girls, and Doctor of Physical Therapy, Rachel found Fierce 45 shortly after a knee injury sidelined her from triathlon training in 2016. She was astonished by how a low-impact, 45 minute workout could be so utterly exhausting, but still feel SO GOOD, all while safely rebuilding her body to a level of strength and stability she had never experienced. Perhaps more important to her than the physical benefits, has been the community Fierce 45 fosters: everyone is in there shaking together and lifting each other up in empowerment and affirmation and she is honored to be a part of it. Her fitness resume is eclectic-- she has taught everything from Spinning to ballet, and because of her background as a PT and deep understanding of the human body, be prepared for a Lagree sweat-fest that is focused on precise alignment and intentional movement!
Veronica spent the majority of her childhood and teen years dancing competitively. When she moved to Denver from Durango, CO, 7 years ago and was looking for a new type of exercise, being back in a studio setting was a must. She found and taught barre which was her gateway into the fitness industry. She now teaches spin and at Fierce45. She believes in not only the Lagree method, but in this BAD ASS community! Her Fierce love started by getting hooked on the intensity of the physical and mental results. She knew immediately that she needed to be on the other side pushing people and helping them get to that zone where they think they are going to DIE but don't and then they go a little deeper because they are STRONGER than they think! Basically, she loves all things Fierce45. Oh and a fun fact: this girl is a total cat mom..AF. Meow!"
Heidi’s motivation to be a Fierce45 coach is simply to inspire her clients to be the best versions of themselves. She has been a group fitness instructor for the past four years, teaching barre and yoga. Heidi stumbled upon Fierce45 through a friend, and has been hooked ever since. She loved the intensity that the Lagree method posed, and was impressed by the intelligence behind the workout. Now as a Fierce45 Coach, she is determined to bring intensity and intelligence to all of her classes.
Fun Fact: She is obsessed with dogs and really all animals!
As a California native, mother to two crazy beautiful souls, Montessori educator, and Polynesian Dance Performer/Instructor, Lesley found Fierce45 shortly after moving back from a 2 year stint living in Singapore where she raised her daughters full time. Growing up in San Diego, Lesley has always loved physical activity, connection to nature, and a fun & healthy lifestyle. She found Lagree itself to be unlike anything she’s ever done before and she was amazed by the transformation it gave - mind, body and soul. Fierce45 is one of the vehicles in her life that helped her find clarity, rise above the fear, embrace the discomfort, and step more into her truth. She loves the challenge that Fierce45 gives her every single time she gets on the machine and the unbelievable empowering & inspiring community of badasses. She is both honored and humbled to be a part of the Fierce45 family and is dedicated to bringing her drive, passion and Fierce energy into every class. Having a background in dance, her classes focus on alignment and extension, connection to breath & movement, and form. It is her intention to give you an experience that will strengthen your body and mindset, bring awareness of your incredible potential, and to motivate you in being the best version of yourself.
Helen is a Colorado native and grew up trying almost every workout, sport, and activity under the sun. She stumbled upon Fierce45, and after taking her first class, she knew she had to find a way to continue coming back. She began working at the studio for the next year, and throughout that time, she's learned just how unique and inspiring the Fierce45 community is. Discovering Fierce45 has changed Helen's mind and body for the very best, and she hopes to continue to inspire each person that walks through the studio doors as a coach! Fun Fact: Helen's family was on Family Feud in early 2016. They lost (terribly), but she always makes sure everyone knows that she did her part and carried her weight!
Born in Hawaii and raised in Colorado, Erika has never met a carb she hasn't liked. To avoid turning into an actual donut she leads an active lifestyle and has sampled nearly every fitness trend out there. Erika is a stickler for form, which is why Fierce45 hooked her immediately and kept her coming back for more. Classically trained in various styles of dance, she has recently become enamored with tango, which might explain why she isn't shy invading your personal space to give hands-on adjustments. Through Fierce45, Erika has found the physical results she was looking for and a supportive community of wonderful people who are always willing to share their snacks.
